Pijush (Me) in Myrdal

It was my dream to visit Norway- "The Land of Midnight Sun", specially in winter where everyplace is molded with ice. Eventually I got the chance when I was in Copenhagen in 2005. Me Lalu and Rami went to Norway in Easter holidays and still it is the best place I have ever seen in this earth. The majestic natural beauty, the enchanting white mountains, mesmeric green valleys, kaleidoscopes houses delighted me and truly speaking the journey from Oslo to Bargen hypnotized me completely. Here goes a brief description of my tour.
In Youth Hostel
Day One : We reached Oslo from Copenhagen very late at night and went to the Youth Hostel - Anker Hostel, which is almost in center of Oslo, the capital of Norway. The funny we encountered in this hostel was its like dormitory and common for male female. In our room we had a old couple, two sweet Italian teenagers and we three - the Indian vagabonds. Day Two : Visiting Oslo
We went to see Oslo, it is not a big city. Smaller than Copenhagen and even it appears to me smaller than Kharagpur, my home town. But Oslo is beautiful city with every variety, starting from Peace Musium to Kings Palace, from Port to Fort, from Park to Church. The details is documented in the following blog.

Day Three: Oslo - Bergen The Golden Rail Journey in my life

The Bergen Railway The Bergen Railway is an unique experience on Northern Europe's highest railway. One of the greatest challenges is the harsh and changeable weather. The line is exposed to deep low pressure centres from the west, which can mean strong winds and heavy snow for part of the year. To be able to keep the railway open demands great effort and technical knowledge. Today skilled workers, effective equipment, tunnels and snowtunnels make the Bergen Railway one of the safest and most comfortable way of travelling between Oslo and Bergen. This line was recognized to be one of the 20 best railway experiences in the world in 1999. It was really an enchanting journey and I took around 250 pictures during the journey of 6 hours.

Bergen

Bergen is in west cost of Norway and a nice city in the hill. Its very old and the port is also very famous. The houses are colourful and it was not snowing heavily there as it is near to sea.

Day Four: Flam

The Flam Railway The journey on the Flam Railway is regarded as one of the high points on the Norway in a nutshell® tour. The 20km-long train journey from the mountain station of Myrdal and down to Flam deep in the fjord takes around 55 minutes. On the journey you have views of some of the most magnificent mountain scenery in Norway with an ever-changing panorama of tall mountains and thundering waterfalls. Along the Flam Railway the train moves slowly or stops at the best views.

Flam is a nice place, a small village in the lap of nature and we started the journey of fiot here in Norway in Nutshell trip.

Day Five : in Oslo via Voss and back to Copenhagen
